Thanks very much Rachel for a great performance on BBC Children in Need. I imagine hoola hooping on live TV was pretty nerve-wracking but you helped make the programme look great, and we raised lots of money. Great job!

Our centre arranged for Rachel to provide 12 sessions of hula hooping to adults living with mental health issues. From the moment Rachel first came in, with her bubbly smile and enthusiasm, we knew that people would really enjoy the sessions and get so much out of them. Some were worried that they could not do it or their health issues would be a factor but once they had all had a go, they realized how fun, simple and entertaining it was. People would leave with a smile on their face and feel that they had had a good physical workout. The sessions were so popular that we hope to be inviting Rachel back to do more sessions with us soon!

Rachel is a fantastic hula hooper and workshop leader with a fun and friendly nature and an upbeat approach to engaging community. She has ran workshops for us here at CircusMASH and we would absolutely have her back for any of our events. She easily adapts to all levels of learners and is bags of fun!

Rachel was a huge hit, she was amazing and didn’t stop hula hooping all weekend. She single handedly taught almost the whole festival to hula ! Her enthusiasm was contagious and she added something very special to our festival . We certainly look forward to having her back next year and seeing more of her LED and fire hoop performances.

Rachel came to teach my 18 strong brownie pack (plus four leaders) to hoop dance during one of our regular meetings. The pack range in age between 7 and 10 and their hooping experience goes from a self styled champion hooper to brownies and leaders who couldn’t hoop. Rachel took time to work with each brownie individually and by the end of the evening all of the pack had learned a routine, nailed some cool hula tricks and had a really good time. I can’t fault Rachel’s enthusiasm, or her ability to relate to the girls, and I don’t think there is anyone she can’t teach to Hula – I may be biased because she taught me. I thoroughly recommend Rachel and her hoops for a fun brownie or guide evening.

We’ve programmed Rachel for a number of Wild Rumpus events now, from our family arts event Just So Festival to a recreation of a tightrope walk at Rudyard Lake. Rachel brings a colour and vibrancy to an event site, with great hooping skills and such a passion for her art that families can’t hep but find it infectious. She’s always a pleasure to work with, really flexible and happy, we love having her involvement at our events.
